Coronavirus Update

The Jewish Pavilion is involved with exciting new projects to help seniors during these harrowing times. We are collecting cards and drawings from adults and children and delivering them to our elders in senior communities. We have received cards from the local community as well as  from people from all over the United States. We want the seniors to know that we care about them. We are also making calls and sending emails to the aged.  The cards we are getting include penpal correspondence, “we are thinking about you” and “Happy (appropriate) Holliday”, "you are loved" and other encouraging messages.

Our elders in senior communities need Facemasks and so do their staff members. Thanks to Jill Goldsmith and Joanne Fink , volunteers are sewing masks to help our community. These face masks are being delivered to senior communities.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/579109062683073/

At the Jewish Pavilion we love our seniors, and we so appreciate all that the staff who work in elder- communities are doing to keep their residents safe and happy. Thanks to THE PARGH FOUNDATION and Andy Pargh, the Jewish Pavilion has offered a free lunch to the entire staffs at Brookdale Lake Orienta in Altamonte Springs,  Brookdale Dr. Phillips, Cascade Heights in Longwood, Savannah Court in Maitland. Also Windsor at Celebration and Encore of Avalon Park are tentatively scheduled. The Jewish Pavilion will continue to offer lunch semi-weekly to Health care workers for the duration of the funding.  Healthcare workers and other staff members are greeted by a Food Truck from Toasted; a Winter Park restaurant. The company provides delicious, specialty sandwiches featuring grilled cheese. Staffers will also receive two sides: macaroni and cheese and salad, as well as a beverage and a cookie; all paid for by the Jewish Pavilion. We truly appreciate THE PARGH FOUNDATION and Andy Pargh for initiating and funding this initiative.
