Every year, more than 400 volunteers provide their time and energy to help The Jewish Pavilion carry out its mission. Its easy to volunteer.

• Attend any of the weekly events at one of the many facilities we visit listed on the facilities calendar. Its as simple as introducing yourself to the Pavilion volunteer organizing the event and enjoy.

• Visit with seniors on an individual basis creating friendships and relationships that enhance the lives of the senior as well as the volunteer.

• Host social events at senior communities. These may be music programs, happy hours, Shabbat services or holiday events such as Rosh Hashanah, Purium, or Passover.

• Do you play a musical instrument? Many of the facilities have pianos and the residents love live music. Just let us know where and when you’d like to perform and we’ll work with the facility’s director to make sure you have an audience.

• Volunteers work behind the scenes knitting blankets, baking cakes and cookies or helping out in the office.
